Buckingham Youth Centre is available for hire at very reasonable rates (when the youth club is not meeting !). We also do discounted rates for Charities or Youth groups. The Centre is and can be used for all sorts of groups including Karate, Guides, Table Tennis and Dancing, to children’s parties and theatre shows. The Centre has disabled parking outside,  an accessible toilet, baby changing facilities and a wide corridor making it family,  wheelchair and mobility scooter friendly. 

We have three areas that we hire out, each with plenty of equipment or you can hire the whole centre( weekends only).

Normally the building has a capacity of 200. Much of the government guidance has now been withdrawn but we advise no more than 50-75 in the hall and 100 in the building as a maximum.

Party Hire

Our hall is an ideal kids’ party venue and comes with the use of a small downstairs kitchen with a kettle/ microwave plus an urn/mugs for thirsty parents! We have tables and chairs and we are putting together some details of local companies and party packages with companies whom we have worked with before.

We also have room on Saturday evenings for parties and events, however, we have a no-alcohol policy on the premises!

***Due to our rising bills,  as of the 1st Feb 2022,  we can no longer accept one-off bookings below 3 hours. However,  we will always do our best to accommodate local families and friends where we can!

Weekend Party hire ( Saturday and Sunday )

The price of a party or one-off event on a Saturday or Sunday  (in the hall or upstairs lounge )is now £70 for up to 3 hours ( including set up/ pack away ). In general, we find this is enough time for setting up/ packing away and lots of fun in between! You can also hire the hall for longer or contact us if you would like the whole building. In the past, it has been used exclusively for filming a documentary, and running Community events and even Holiday Clubs! Extra hours are charged at £20 an hour. 

Our Sports Hall ( £18 per hour: weekdays, £20 per hour: weekends))

Max 50-75 people ( as a guide, though our capacity is 100)

The large sports hall is 10.5m( W) x 18m (L) and is about 2 and 1/2 storeys high. It comes with the following:

  • Facilities:
    • A small ground floor kitchen, with;
      • Tea/coffee facilities
      • Food preparation space
      • Accessible Toilets/ baby change
  • Equipment and Sports Equipment:
    • 50 chairs;
    • 8 tables;
    • 3 Tables Tennis Tables( Plus bats+ balls )
    • Volleyball nets ( + volleyballs)
    • Badminton nets( + racquets+ shuttle cocks )
    • Unihockey / floorball sticks and pucks

Our Lounge( £18 per hour: Weekdays, £20 an hour : weekends ) Max 20-25 people

Our upstairs lounge seats around 25 people and comes with a fully equipped kitchen. It comes with the following:

  • Facilities:
    • Fully equipped kitchen;
    • 25 seats;
    • A selection of small tables;
    • 2m by 2m projector screen
  • Equipment / Sports Equipment:
    • 2 pool tables;
    • A table football table;
    • An air hockey table;

Our Meeting/Conference room( Max 5-10 people £8.50 per hour)

In addition to our lounge, we also have a ground-floor meeting room, with a whiteboard. This is suitable for smaller meetings of 5-10 people( and would have access to the ground floor kitchen)

Terms and conditions and hiring policies can be found on our T&Cs and Policies for Hirers. All one-off bookings require a deposit to be paid when booking. Once this has been paid as with all bookings, we will confirm your booking via email.
